With over 15 years of experience in higher education and research, Dr. Senjuti Basu Bhattacharya is a passionate and accomplished academician in the field of Zoology. Her expertise spans across Fisheries Science, Medical Zoology, Agricultural Entomology, and Crop Protection, with a commitment to fostering scientific curiosity and excellence among students.

Dr. Bhattacharya holds a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Kalyani, where she also served as a Junior Scientist and research scholar. She has consistently demonstrated excellence throughout her academic career with multiple first-class degrees including M.Phil, M.Ed, B.Ed, and M.Sc. in Zoology (Fisheries), and is a SET-qualified educator under the West Bengal College Service Commission.

Her professional journey includes impactful teaching roles at institutions such as Vidyasagar College, Vidyasagar Evening College, Netaji Subhas Open University, and EL-Bethel College of Education, where she taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Zoology and Life Sciences. She has also worked as a Senior Research Fellow at WBUAFS and played a key role in teacher education and academic administration.

An advocate of blended learning, Dr. Bhattacharya is proficient in modern educational tools, including MS Office, online teaching platforms, and certified in DOEACC ‘O’ & ‘A’ levels.
